I am delighted to welcome you to the British University of Bahrain, one of the newest Universities in Bahrain. BUB has been established in partnership with the University of Salford, Manchester, to bring high quality, contemporary British higher education to Bahrain. The degrees we offer are identical to those offered on Salford’s Manchester campus and, as such, are designed to equip you with the latest knowledge and skills in your field of study, as well as the skills and aptitudes necessary to thrive in the modern world of work. The University of Salford has a rich 50-year history of excellence in research, teaching and collaboration with industry and now, through BUB, this world-class knowledge and expertise will be available to students in Bahrain.
BUB is housed in a new, purpose-built campus. The campus has been designed to facilitate active and collaborative learning and a stimulating student experience. Whatever your programme of study, you will participate in real life projects and gain first-hand experience of the industries you will eventually work in.
Since all of the programmes offered at BUB are identical to those offered by the University of Salford, Manchester (apart from the addition of a foundation year for those students who have completed local high school, incomplete IB diplomas or AS levels) it is possible for any student to transfer to the equivalent programme in Manchester at any stage of their studies or, indeed, to transfer back to BUB after completing a year in the UK.
For further details please see the information available on this website or feel free to contact us for further information. I look forward to welcoming you to BUB!
